Living in Florida gives me the perfect opportunity to get in some diving. There are some really nice reefs on the East Coast with lots of sea life and, of course, the Keys off the Southern end of Florida. My husband and I also dive the inland springs and caverns inland. The water in these is so clear you can see for 200 feet sometimes. Any other divers on the board? |

I have never done this but at some point I would love to try. How hard is it? I have surfed once (badly) but I do love the water, and think I might enjoy this. |

I tried just the once and I suffered severe ear pain. I had some problems as a child that left me with impaired hearing and damage to the ear drums, and I guess it was related. I just couldn't get passed it-and its a shame because I'd love to do it more. |

That's too bad, Dogget. Definitely need your ears in good working order for this sport. I guess you'll have to stick with snorkeling. |
