I saw a TV show last week that said that the many cities have put money into redoing their parks and that everyone should go to a nearby park and see if it has changed. They say that many parks have safer lighting and that security has been improved. It's all to try and get everyone to give their local parks another try.

I used to go to a local park when I was younger but it became dirty and not at all safe and so I haven't been there for years. Because of that TV program I decided to go back there and look around.

WOW! The whole park is cleaner than I remember and there is a nice smooth walkway where people can walk, stroll, run and ride their bikes! The trees and lawns are beautiful and it really looked inviting. I was amazed! I spent a whole afternoon there walking around and getting some fresh air. It really was nice.

I also saw that they had events planned for the rest of the summer. I might go to some of the concerts.

I suggest that you all hit the parks near you. Your local park might have been redone and is now a nice place to go to get some exercise! I totally intend to go back to my park this weekend.

I love parks, I think it is wonderful that they are being taken care of, cleaned up, etc.

We do not have a city park, but there is a state park not very far away, and it has always been neat and clean, a pleasure to visit.

Local parks are a great way to get out and enjoy your day. We have several in our area.

1 was redone with a new gazebo- they are doing summer concerts every Monday.

Another one was also revamped- The entire playground was torn out and a bigger, better one was built.

I hope everyone checks out their local parks.

I have not noticed any changes in our local parks. Though there are a lot of them so I imagine I have missed some along the way.

It feels good to relax and have fun in family park especially if the place is cool and awesome. We have a family park in our town. It's for the public. The goverment maintain the cleanliness of the park. I used to jog in the park every morning.

L love visiting parks around here. Not only are they clean but they are also many greenery and birds there. The place is so calm and peaceful to me. Oh yes. Did I mention it is free too?
