Subject: | Price Increases | |
Everything else is increasing in price right now, so what about the meds that you take? Are you struggling yet to pay for them, or still coping ok? |

I'm doing okay but that's because I have decent prescription coverage through my health insurance. Those who don't have that may be having issues, though. I haven't heard of any price hikes yet but the prices are so high already, the economy probably doesn't even really effect it. |

The only meds I take on a regular basis, I take the OTC version, generic, rather than the prescription because it would cost me more to go through my plan, stupidly. So far I've not seen any increases. |

No, as the site I deal with has an offshore model. As the U.S. dollar starts going back up, they've actually dropped some of their prices. |

I currently don't take much medication but when I do, or I buy for my son, the cost is increasing, I am still coping though, especially medication is a must when needed. |

I see many people worried about this now and you know that Walmart deal with meds for less than normal price? I have yet to see any that work for those with HIV/AIDS, such a sad case, what can be done? |

Walmart's $4 formulary list is only for certain medications, though. I have yet to need one that was on the list. It's not just Walmart, either. A lot of places are doing the same thing but are not advertising it so be sure to ask. |

Right now I have only a couple of things that I take and most are OCT and rare at that. Some though in the past have not been covered by insurance and it was a true kicker. |
