Subject: | Poison Ivy Wipes | |
Does anyone have any experience with these? My mom is coming out to visit us, and she is incredibly sensitive to poison ivy. I was going to get some of these wipes in case she gets in to contact with it, but I don't know if it works at all. |

I have never used them. Mom used either milk or sour cream and let it dry. A neighbor swears by PInk lIfeboy soap. I know someone who used a paste of lava soap I use Aveeno for itch its a pink cream anything that will dry it up and keep it from oozing should work. j |

Never have heard of the wipes but those sound like they would be worth the try and pretty convenient. |

From what I have read about the new Poison Ivy Wipes, I think they will work really well. They are supposed to remove all the toxins on the skin, even before they start to react. Getting some for your Mom sounds like a wonderful idea! |

Oh I have heard of those. The wipes make it so much easier from what my garndmother says, who always seems to get it about 3 times a year. |

It seems like it would be a good idea but just make sure (as you would with baby wipes) to keep the container closed when not using to make sure they do not dry up or anything. |
