Subject: | People Who Make You Feel Bad | |
Everytime I see someone ask for help with a specific issue it seems people try to tell them they are wrong and need to be doing something else, whether it be not eating something, not using something else, or whatever. Why are people so quick to pass judgement and assume everyone is too stupid to know what they need, while a virtual stranger does? |

I would have to say there are a couple of responses to that. Sometimes if someone asks a question your first instinct is to assume they do not know much about it otherwise they would not be asking. Therefore, if they are not keen on the proper ways to "handle" something there is a good chance that they are not following what needs to be done and I think this is when they may make suggestions that they think are informative but may come across otherwise. The other response - maybe some people are just mean and just assume they know more or better than others. And who knows many of them probably do. |

It's humane nature to be intrusive, try not to let it get you down. I believe everyone knows their bodies best. |

People naturally want to give them your opinion good or bad. Most of the time when you ask a question you will get an answer and sometimes not the one you always want. Just human nature I guess. |

I guess if you don't want a range of answers, you should ask your doctor, not a forum. If you want to hear people's opinions on possible diet links, drug reactions, lifestyle changes, what have you, then you ask here and take what you get. |

I know that when I ask questions here, I want people's opinions, not just facts. If I just wanted straight facts I could do an Internet Search. When I ask questions here, I want to hear personal experiences. And personal opinions usually have to do with what people think are good and bad ways to do things. I also like to hear different opinions. A good discussion is a wonderful way to learn. |

When I ask someone a question I expect them to give me their opinion. It doesn`t mean I am wrong or they are wrong. It`s just their opinion. I like to get lots of different opinion too like skatss. Then you can pick which one you like best. |
