Subject: | My hair is getting weak | |
Are there any good ways to promote healthier hair? My nails grow fine, but my hair after the past few years is losing its UMF for lack of a better way to describe it. |

For a start you need to look at your diet. If your diet is lacking a mineral or some other essential element then your hair will show it. You need sleep, good food, and exercise. |

Is this always the case? A friend of mine in high school had the same issues as her mother (at an earlier age thinning of the hair) and they both ate different from what I can remember. |

The first thing to try is a good shampoo that will clean all the residue from your hair (like Neutregena). Most hair products cause build up that can make the hair dull and lifeless. If your nails are healthy, then it's most likely not a dietary issue. |
