Subject: | Low Hormones | |
Mine are intentional, well kind of. My form of BC makes them be lower and I was wondering what (not Rx wise) I could do to swap this around if possible. My mood swings are just as bad as really strong PMS/Pregnancy mood swings/Menopause all three combine. :( |

There are herbal preparations that can provide you with additional hormones however I have a friend who did not have a good experience with them. She was using a cream which would be applied to the skin. She absorbed too much and that created other problems. She finally consulted her doctor who told her to stay away from it because there was no real way to control the dosage. |

I haven't tried this myself but a friend of mine swears by a product called Remifemin. This is a herbal supplement available OTC and the main active ingredient is black cohosh extract. She said it completely relieved the hot flashes she was experiencing as well as stabilizing her moods again. |

Most times I have been told I am not very hormonal and now with the lack of them I feel more than just a tad off. I have never been this * insert any word here* before in life, even on the worst days. I am thinking next checkup I am going to have a chatty chat with the doc. |
