Subject: | Itching | |
This winter I itch like never before. I'm not sure why. I've tried moisturizers and even baby powder but everything only seems to help for awhile. I don't find my skin especially dry and I am not developing a rash. I have heard of Gold Bond anti itching powder. Tempted to try it. Does anyone have any experience with this product or have other suggestions. |

Many people are especially sensitive to the dry air of winter caused by needing to use the heat. Try running a humidifier to get some moisture back into the air in the room you spend the most time in. Gold Bond products are very good but I would try one of their creams or lotions versus the powder, simply because powder can be drying. |

A lot of people suffer from dry skin this time of year, including me. I can usually control the itch by applying lotion twice a day, after my bath and before going to bed. I have to agree with the others that recommend avoiding powder as this will dry the skin even more. |
