It's summertime and what better way to cool off with a big juicy watermelon? Lots of it. Well according to some new study, watermelons contain citrulline which gets converted to arginine. This arginine works in much the same way as that famous little blue pill, Viagra.

Now how do I explain all this to my wife this summer? ;)

Ha ha ha ha ha! I like the stuff, but being female it's not quite such a selling point to me. I grow my own water melons and so we tend to eat a lot of them in summer.

I love eating watermelon in the summer in hot hot weather. I have not noticed any additional benefits. Of course that just might be something I would not be aware of so I asked my wife if she had noticed. Thankfully she is just as skeptical as I am otherwise she might have set limits on my intake.

I love watermelon as well, but must limit my consumption because I find it... relaxing... to my bowels. I can't eat enough to notice any viagra-like effects.

I heard this the other day, but was wondering how reliable my source was. Don't tell my husband, though...trust me, he does not need it! lol

Watermelons are great, really refreshing and the viagra effect is news to me!! I had better hurry on down to the supermarket before they sell out!!!LOL

I love watermelon especially on a very hot day. It is one of my favorite treats and is still not too expensive.

Hahahhaha I have never heard that but its funny. I love watermelon too but they are so expensive here. And they seem to have gotten smaller too.
