Smoking right? I had the same problem. I quit for nearly 6 months and I don't know what happened but I was craving them as bad then as I did the first few days I quit. I am sure it had to do with the people I was around all day because they smoked too. I did not have much trouble up to that point because I took a few days off work and just slept. I had also cleaned up everything that would remind me of a cigarette and tossed the ones I had left. Just keep trying and if possible cut down before you quit. |

If you do the research, you will find out that most people take up to a year to fully quit smoking. Very, very few make it on their first try. You've done very well just to go five days in the first attempt. Just keep trying - you'll get there. |

I'm sorry that you didn't make it, but don't give up. Think about what caused you to fail and then come up with a plan where that situation will not cause you to fail again. Have you heard of the E-cigarettes? I heard that those can help you quit, but I would do more research on it before switching over. |

The fact that you tried is more important than the fact that you failed... initially. Learn from it what you can and then try again. We are all pulling for you. |

It is always hard to quit something you are so used to for such a long time. I have had this issue with a couple of things, my biggest still is soda though which I am slowly working on. |

Oh my! That's a really hard habit to break! My sister in law has started using Chantix and is doing pretty well. I think in three months she's had about 6 cigarettes which is great from two packs a day. She says she has the most trouble when she drinks her cup of coffee in the morning. I told her to change that habit and the cigarette habit wouldn't bother her. If she could drink tea instead of coffee or cut coffee out altogether and drink soda then it wouldn't bother her as badly. |
