I think that this mankind has one of the largest problems ever and it is called human trafficking! I think that there are no worse criminals than the ones who run this kind of business. How can someone do that to another person is beyond me?!

There are many free (nonprof) places that work to fight this kind of thing all over the world. A friend of mine belongs to a group that does exactly that and the numbers are really shocking to think about. Be careful when you travel, this is (for example, single alone females in different countries) is one of the quickest ways to be abducted and put into this line of "work" (slavery).

I just don't understand how people can do this. It is the human life we are talking about. There is so much ways to make money but this...

I have asked this because I heard some recent statistics and the number were frightening! Every year thousands of people vanish without any trace. Those are mostly children in South America and young girls in Eastern Europe.

This has happened for hundreds, if not thousands of years. I don't agree with it, of course, but it is the basis for slavery. It is, unfortunately not a rare or new phenomenon.

It just goes to show how much further we, as a race, need to go in whatever mental/spiritual evolution so things like this don't happen.

There are so many hardships suffered by so many over the world, you can get overwhelmed thinking about it.

I have heard about those nonproof places, especially people from USA are very active. They are trying to help people to find their "stolen" relatives.
