I know when you are in school they are a part of your phy. ed class, but what about after school? Has anyone ever taken extra health classes to study up or do they even offer these? |

Other than the health and nutrition classes that are offered to nursing students, I am not aware of any programs geared toward the general public. |

Some cities will do a new parent course at the hospital after your child has been born, same thing when going through a custody case for a child. I have never heard of one for health though as an adult unless you were taking some college courses. |

I have never taken such a class since school, but I have done regularly reading and even bought some books, like 'natural cures they don't want you to know' to improve my health. |

I think it would be great if this was offered, to some extent it should be mandatory. There are quite number of persons out there who do not how to treat their bodies but are willing to learn. |

I would love to continue my education but there is no specific area I would like to go in. My mind is a sponge and I wish to soak up all I can so I find myself at sites like this to try and learn a little more here & there. |

Mesha, what types of books have you been reading? I have tried to find some at my library but it seems the kind of books I want they do not have so I need to find a place online instead. |
