Subject: | Hangover cures | |
Although I don`t drink as much as I used to years ago, I thought this would be a good subject. I used to drink a V8 juice and take some vitamins. What do you do or have you done. |

As far as I'm concerned there is no "cure" for a hangover except not drinking and getting one in the first place. Most home cures simply won't work. I watched countless frat boys try them in college and its just not realistic. Neither are the OTC things they sell for cures. |

I heard if you drink a glass of water in between drinks it will help reduce your headache which stems from dehydration. |

I have heard that as well and it tends to help some people (mostly those who either do not drink a ton and do not want to pass out, or those who are chugging like there is no tomorrow). I was also told that you should not take meds when drinking (to avoid a hangover) as it messes with something. |

Are there really any? I was always told the only thing that helps is keeping yourself hydrated, otherwise its a lose cause pretty much. |

I think this is why so many people now are starting to have a drink then have a glass of water to keep their bodies balanced between the two. There is no real cure that I am aware of. |

Unless you are sleeping through like a bear the worst part, there is no way I have found to avoid having a hangover. If you are drinking enough that you need an antacid pill before you crash out, you had one too many and nothing will change that. |
