We are working to shorten the trips we make to the store and have since the gas prices freak out a while back but still it seems we are forgetting things all the time. Does anyone have a few good tips on how you shop for your foods? I can not just buy all in bulk since we have limited storage. |

Plan your menus for the week from the sales ad and what you have in stock already. Cut any coupons for what you need and make a list. Get to know your stores discount areas - usually at least 3 for meat, dairy and general food. |

I only go to the store once a week. I live pretty far away from the store, so that's why I only do it once a week. I keep a list on the refrigerator of all items that I have run out of so that I know exactly what I need. I look at the sales ads. I clip coupons. I plan my route ahead of time. |
