Subject: | Fish oil supplements | |
Read an article in Vista Magazine on the benefits of taking a fish oil supplement. The article was titled "True Fish Tales" by Jolie Martin Root. The part that caught my attention was how it can benefit exercise induced broncho-constriction or EIB (I have minor asthma). It can also help prevent repiratory allergies and airway diseases in children. I wanted to post a link to this but it isn't posted on their website yet. |

I have heard good things about fish oil supplements but hadn't heard of any affect on allergies. I wonder if this would be beneficial in adults, too? |

My parents said they took cod liver oil every winter when they were kids. Took a teaspoon every day. Thankfully they gave us the little footballs instead of the straight oil. We were healthier all winter because of it. |

I have never liked fish and I am not sure why. I have tried it cooked many ways but I am just not a in the water foodies person. I love Alaskan crabs though. |

That is a really great benefit if it helps with respiratory allergies. I'd be more than willing to take a couple fish oil capsules a day for a benefit such as that. I had not heard about the ADHD connection, will look into that as my cousin has ADHD! |
