Subject: | Dirty Fingernails | |
Dirty fingernails can be a real turn off. I keep mine clips very short so it is less likely that something builds up there. I have noticed that mechanics have chronic dirty nails and whenever I get into that kind of work I have the same problem. Is there a product that loosens that kind of dirt easily without removing the skin off my hands. |

I am going to have to consider myself lucky in this department. I bite my nails down to the nubs of my fingers, so I have no nails to get dirty. I guess this could be a way of keeping them clean, but they looks so nasty. |

Lava Soap has pumice stone ground into it and it well known as a good hand cleaner yet also is gentle on the skin. They have liquid Lava soap now too. As for dirty nails, a good scrubbing nailbrush still does wonders. |

Hmmm... I have VERY long natural nails. No fakes. And no dirt beneath them. I work in my garden regularly and I have a very active dog - still no dirt under my nails. I wash my hands before and after cooking. I wash after playing with the dog and his toys. I wash my hands after using the toilet EVERY time - even when I'm home alone. No dirty nails. :) |
