Subject: | Diarrhoea Drugs | |
I've never used these drugs, because they seem wrong some how. Diarrhoea happens because of the body needing to get rid of what's in it, so keeping it in-well, I don't want to! Are these drugs really safe? |

I am weary of them myself, but tend to use them if I have a situation that warrants my presence elsewhere. I totally agree with you Dogget, sometimes we just latch onto these things without thinking out the whole process. |

I have only used these drugs as a last resort. Sometimes there are just things that have to be done and you do what you have to to get it done. |

I've had doctors tell me that they aren't good as that is how the body is expelling bacteria and germs and you will actually get better faster without them. Sometimes though, it really is necessary as bosses are not always so understanding. |

I've never used them myself and have digestive problems that cause frequent episodes of this. However when it happens to you frequently you learn how to deal with it-where the public toilets are on your route to work and so on. |

I'm glad that I'm not alone in feeling like this. It just doesn't make sense unless there is a really good reason, to stop a process that the body needs to help it get well. |

No you are not alone in this and oddly I have read of some people being fired for having "accidents". We tend to not realize how time oriented many things are, what happens to the sad guy that has a case of this and runs a train? I would never use things like these, it just does not seem natural. |
