Subject: | DCS | |
Yesterday I almost drowned. We tried snorkelling accross a nopen bay wherethe boats ocm ein at the dam, and my fin broke na i began to sink. For as much as I have experince i panicked. Thankfully my daughter and hubby lept cool heads and i got accross. But i didnt stop. I kept snorkelling the area. I was stupid. I developed DCS, decomprssion sickness. IT happened by breathing in and hyperventilating thrugh a snorkel. Today my eyes have been sore and i feel off kilter. And as I sit here I am begining to get RLS. its weird. RLS while your moving. DCS come sin a multitude of forms and anyone who hyperventilates while doing exercise can devlope it. Go figure even on dry land there is a version of it. Befuddlement, brain fog, body feels like its not getting oxygen and your always yawning in an air hunger way are signs of a form of it. peopel who exercise in heat or are doing thinsg out in teh eat and begin to pant heavy may also have it. Just another thing to keep an eye out for when your outside during a heat wave. j |
