Subject: | Cancer - Are There Really Cures? | |
These days we hear about cures for some cancers and I'm overjoyed to hear about them but I also wonder how true it is. People can be "cured" of cancer and not see any more of it for years when suddenly it sticks its ugly head out again. I've seen too many people die from all kinds of cancer. Some of them had it for only a short time and others for as long as 16 years. Sometimes the person will say that they are a survivor only to have it come back again. Is there really a cure for cancer? Any cancer? It just seems to me that whenever I turn around someone else I know has just been diagnosed with it or had died from it. A cure for Cancer - real or just hope and faith? I hope it's real. |

I don't believe there will be a cure for cancer. There is no cure found in the past and present and I don't think a cure will be found in the future. It is like virus; the cancer cell keep on mutating to make a cure impossible to be found. |

I think with different cancers being found every day it would be really difficult to find a cure, I think they will find drugs to help but never cure. |

I think eventually their will be cures for cancer. It just takes time and as we get more knowledge we will be able to figure it out. |

Well, there are known cases of cancer being cured. For example, the Russian novelist Solzhenitsyn who by the way died just a couple of days ago. He had cancer when he was young, and was told that he did not have long to live. He was cured though and lived cancer-free. He was in his late 80's when he died. |
