Subject: | Booster Shots for pig flu? | |
I just read an article that is talking about shots for us all after this crazy month or so with the swine flu. I am not too sure I like the idea of even more things to get shots for. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/booster_shots/2009/05/the-h1n1influenza-virus-that-brought-the-world-to-the-brink-of-a--pandemic-is-sure-to-spawn-publications-in-scholarly-journal.html |

If they come up with a vaccine for this flu, it's unlikely to see booster shots offered unless it gets a lot worse than it is. You will most likely see it added to next season's flu vaccines, though. |

There really aren't that many people who have it. I think the whole situation has been blown out of proportion. Yeah, like Christie says, they will probably add a vaccine to next years mix. I just haven't seen numbers to convince me we are having a pandemic yet. |

I was actually wondering about this and whether or not they actually will do it. It just popped into my mind when I first started hearing about the panic starting to spread. |
