Subject: Best presidential candidate for healthcare

I have been doing a lot of presidential candidate comparison lately due to the recent primary's and was curious who everyone thinks is the best candidate to reform healthcare, and why?

You must have asked the hardest question of the year as many people are thinking right before they decide who to vote for. I am still in a toss up, everyone seems to flap their gums well but in the end its like a shot in the dark.

It is tough. Both Hillary and Obama talk a tough game, and speak of sweeping reforms. However McCain is a big advocate of cutting prescription drug costs and legalizing the importation of prescription drugs from Canada. Also, Hillary and Obama are first and second in taking campaign contributions from big pharma, I think McCain is like 14th.

I think all of them will have a hard time making any improvements because Congress will probably drag it's feet on all new proposals and add special interest things to the bill. Maybe I'm pessimistic about it but I don't expect much to change with health care and it really really needs to!

Hillary Clinton has ALWAYS gone on record as being for universal healthcare. Drug prices aside, everyone needs coverage before we can tackle prices. It's a crime that so many people in our country don't have health coverage.

Obama talks a big game, but he has so far only promised universal coverage for children. That's well and good, but what about the working adults who still can't afford coverage? Who's looking after them?

What do you think?
