I just read that Bernie Mac passed away today. It was due to complications of pneumonia.

This is shocking to me. I would think that with our technology and his money- Something like this would not happen.

Anyone ever had pneumonia? Come close to taking your life?

SO SAD! HE was definately a comedian.

As for your question, Yes I have and no. But I know pneumonia is hard on everyone, but seems to be worse on the oldest and youngest generation. Also people who have lung issues, that is why some people decide to get a pneumonia shot.

OMG I did not hear about that. How horrible I love Bernie Mac and did not realize that he was even sick.

Viral pneumonia can be tricky and it really can take your life. I've had bacterial pneumonia, which is treatable with antibiotics. It's sad that he died from it, but a reminder to us that we are not invincible!

This was a shock to me too... I love Bernie Mac, he's so funny that when I watch him I could almost pee on my pants... As what George Clooney said, the world just got a little less funny.
