I have been finding many sites that say they can help to self diagnose you for all sorts of things, but are any of these really legit?

You can't really self-diagnose so be careful. They may point you in the right direction but always check with the doctor. So many symptoms can be caused by multiple things and it can be easy to be wrong and do more harm than good.

When you look at sites like these and sometimes play around with them, seeing the results that can happen it makes you appreciate the good doctors out there. The ones that help to explain how one thing can change into another and so on.

I've never tried one of these but now that I know they exist I'm itching to have a play with one! I'm sure that they are not sound medically but I think that it could be fun to mess around with ;)

I doubt any are really proven but it can help to narrow down some things, and other things just the same trying to get a better idea of something you might know someone else already has, for research, not for real diagnosis I think.
