I mentioned in another thread that we went walking this weekend. Well, we went walking out at a lake near where we live. Every tree there was in bloom and I am sniffling like a dog on a raccoon hunt! I love the outdoors but I am so allergic to pollen it's not funny. I'm very uncomfortable.

Oh geez! I hate when that happens! I have allergies too and this time of the year is the worst for me. I try to remember to take my allergy medicine starting around March and it usually keeps me symptom free. That is as long as I remember to take it.

I remember those days when I was constantly plagued by my allergies. I was holed up in the house running the air conditioning to help. Luckily they do not seem to affect me quite as badly as they use to but I do make a point of taking my allergies pills before going outside and I use a neti pot regularly which helps me a lot.

It is miserable when the pollen count is high, isn't it? I suffer from bad allergies too. What bothers me the most is how I can feel just great and then go outdoors and I am leaky-eyed, sniffling, and miserable. I take allergy meds but when the pollen count is really high sometimes I end up having problems anyway.

I'm sorry to hear you all are having trouble too. Hopefully, we will all find an allergy remedy that will help.

ParDunn-What's a neti pot? I've not heard that term before. If it's something that will help my allergies, I'm willing to try anything.

Why does it seems like more people have issues with sinuses and allergies now? I know some that have only bits and pieces, say the no water eyes but the constant congestion. I guess since we are all different we all get hit a little different too.
