Subject: | Recreational Viagra? | |
It is a common practice among some of my West Coast friends to use performance enhancing drugs just to increase endurance...no dysfunction present. Is this as safe and harmless as they claim? |

It all depends on their age. A recent report shows that regular use of Viagra can cause men to become infertile. No problem if your 85 years old but if your friends are young and planning to have kids then I would definitely warn them. I think their ego-boosting antics will take its toll eventually. I have read that article posted above. Vanity pays, eh? |

I think it could be potentially dangerous to the user. On the lighter side, it reminds me of the joke about the man who saw the ED ad that said "If you experience an erection for longer than four hours, tell your doctor", and he said if that happened, he'd tell everybody. |

I don't think that's safe at all. Using any kind of medication without a doctor's supervision is unsafe. There are side effects with everything. They are exposing themselves to adverse effects. |

My friend's son was telling us about how his friends had ordered Viagra online somehow (maybe a generic version?) and were playing around with it. Considering they're teens and shouldn't even be able to get their hands on it, I was appalled by the idea that people who didn't have any dysfunction were trying to get their hands on it. I don't see how that can be good for them. |

Viagra has always scared me, as do other prescription ED drugs. Like most drugs once I heard the really scary side effects I had to wonder what they are thinking. I mean an erection that won't go away after 4 hours? Might have been ok when you were 20, but even at 40 its not quite as exciting sounding... |
