I had a friend get pulled over today by a cop and when they searched the car (they said it was random and this person does not do anything bad), she had an Rx for heavy pain killers not opened yet as she was coming back from the store and the cop kept making hints to her that it was a large dose of medicine and that it looks as those she was trying to sell them.

Is this harassment or something?

A one time incident doesn't constitute harassment but your friend should definitely put a complaint in against him. As long as it's an RX then it's none of his business (as long as it's for her or someone she's picking it up for anyway). What a jerk!

I would be more concerned about this cop being up to no good than I would your friend. Sounds like he was out looking for trouble.

I really hope that most cops are not like the ones we see in the movies and on TV. I have never really heard of anything like this before so maybe the cop was just up to no good like stated or having a really off day.
