Subject: Is it all fluff?

I remember my paps used to say that doctors would pull the wool over your eyes if they could. How much of what doctors and those pharmaciticual places are talking all fluff? Do we have any inside scoop b y chance?

What are you referring to exactly? I think most doctors truly want to make sick people better and keep healthy people healthy. Pharmaceutical companies, on the other hand, I don't trust all that much. They're in it for big profits and that's it.

Most doctors are altruistic and just want to help people. That they can make a decent living from it is a plus. The drug companies-not so much. They are out for the profit. They may have been started to help people but I have a feeling that most are now motivated by greed.

I read something a long time ago and it said most times people come in and complain about things bothering them but many doctors feel the person is just rambling on. I would kind of worry if a doctor was just telling me something to make me hush up you know.

I would love to know why pharmacists and doctors tend to disagree so much, are they not both in the job scope to help people understanding what is going on within their bodies and educate them at the same time helping to treat them?

I thought the pharmacies and the doctors had an understanding. But, several times when I have gone to get a prescription filled, I am told that my doctor needs to write on the script Brand Necessary.

Well duh, if it wasn't necessary; why the heck would the doctor write the prescription in the first place. On top of that now, the doctors are supposed to know off the top of their head which of the million of drugs they prescribe require a prior authorization for each insurance company.
