I always have issues taking pills and they need to be gel capped (easier for me). So how do they decide which can be gel capped and which can not, and who ever thought a big horse pill was a good idea?

It depends on what base the drug is safe with. Some drugs won't react the same with certain bases as others, so they have to use ones that don't alter the effects at all.

I do wish more meds were gel capped as well but that does seem to make sense. Maybe sometime in the future we can get them all capped to better those of us that have issues taking pills.
