Subject: | Flu Shots | |
The cold weather is just starting to settle in on the Midwest and I already have my first cold. My doctor recommends every year that I get the flu vaccine due to my diabetes. Do you get the flu vaccine every year? Have you ever experienced any side effects from the vaccine? |

I have taken flu shots in the past with no adverse effects. I stopped taking them when they were no longer covered by my insurance company. In January, our insurance will be changing to cover flu vaccines. I will probably get the vaccine again. |

I have been lucky so far with nothing more than the normal sniffles. A month from now I am not sure what I will be saying though as its already started to get into the low #'s this past week. |

I have never had a flu shot, but have caught the cold almost every season, only for short periods though. I keep a bottle of cough syrup near me at all times. |

I have noticed the times I get the shot I have it for longer and it is always worse. I spent two weeks in bed the last time and I could barely move an inch. |
