Which type of pharmacy do you use, the big ones or the little guy up the block? I use the small pharmacy up the block. Yes, sometimes they're more expensive than the larger ones but because they know me they give me special prices sometimes and go out of their way to help me.

I like the fact that the owner works in the store and is there to answer my questions and help me find what I need. I definitely like the smaller guy better.

Right now I use the big pharmacies. We are on a really tight budget until my husband finishes school.

I'd like to think that someday we will be able to help support the little guy down the street by taking our business to him!

I try as far as possible to support the little guy. I feel like just a number in the big stores and I really appreciate the personal touch and advice that I get in the little mom-and-pop shop.

I use a chain (CVS) but I get the service you'd expect from a corner drugstore. I like the fact that if I travel, any CVS pharmacy can access my medication history on the computer so I don't have to worry about running out of anything.

I've tried the big stores like Duane Reade and Walgreens and they were good. I had no problems with them. But I like going up the block where the owner knows me and my whole family, aunts, uncles and cousins alike.

I use a chain store. I am always asked if I would like to see a pharmacist to explain the drug and they are courteous. Sometimes though they are so busy, and don't acknowledge that your are present.

We use the Big Pharmacies because of the pricing but in an emergency I will use the corner pharmacy since the Big ones are 30 miles away.
