Wow, thanks for that article. I had always been told that aspirin is good, but I didn't realize the many and varied conditions that it was good for.

If aspirin was introduced today it would be a controlled substance. Its such a wonder drug that the drug companies would be wanting to totally rake the profits in.

Just like marijuana, there are so many people who has success in using it, that would prefer to be able to grow the plant for easy use. But I guess there is much danger in that as there are many people who abuse it.

I don't see that its anything like marijuana. One fixes pains and acts as a blood thinner, but the other gets you high. You have to consider the other side of things too when looking at things.

Does anyone know if a person can not take aspirin what other things they could use instead? I am one of those...

There isn't really anything that is a comparable, or a replacement for this wonder drug. Ibuprofen shares some of the properties of the drug, but it all depends on what it is that you want from the drug.
