Subject: | What happened to West Nile? | |
Almost every year during mosquito season we are bombarded with news and articles about West Nile virus. This year nothing. I'm sure it hasn't gone away and it certainly can't be because of a shortage of mosquitos. |

I've been hearing about it for about a month. We're always being told to watch out for standing water and reminded about the symptoms. This disease never really left the news for us. |

I've been hearing about it as well. I think its more dependant on where you're at and how the season has progressed as far as finding mosquitoes and birds that test positive. I would imagine in some areas its become less scare and mroe commonplace to deal with which means less hype. |

I haven't heard anything about this year at all yet. Last couple of years they were talking about it constantly so maybe it's not being found in my area anymore. |

In my area the mosquitoes are very bad, but no mention of West Nile yet in our area. |
