subdermal blisters?

I've have subdermal blisters on my fingers for a while, and I'm not getting an answer out of my doctor (makes me think she doesn't know). They are very small, about the size of a mustard seed, slightly painful when pressed, but otherwise no problem. She tells me it's either eczema or dermatitis.

Should I even bother seeing a dermatologist? Our insurance only covers 60%, so it will be costly for something that doesn't really bother me.

I'm not sure what a subdermal blister is, if you told me what it was I would probably be able to give you some better feedback on if it would be worth it or not :)

Is it like a wart?

I get those too, before I break into eczema. I find that if I apply alcohol (rubbing, not drinking ;)) to the blisters before they get to the itchy stage, it staves off a full eczema breakout.

K - subdermal means below the skin. Nothing like a wart.
