Subject: | Sinusitis | |
I've had a good winter as far a flu and cold goes until a couple weeks ago. I got a bad head cold and now I just can't seem to completely shake it. Minor post nasal drip ever since. I can function but it does not seem to get better. I'd rather avoid going on antibiotics. Anyone have any good ideas? |

I have chronic sinusitis and the only thing that seems to bring me even temporary relief is using a netti pot. You have to get use to it but with the cleanser it comes with it does help ease the inflammation and a lot of the pain. At least it does for me. I use the Sinu Cleanse it does not have any medications in it and I believe it is an all natural cleanser solution. |

Thanx. I had to google netti pot to find out what it was and how to use it. Here's a link for anyone who might find it useful: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8088601054116305488 |

This is funny because I had recently mentioned to my doctor that I've been feeling so miserable with my sinuses and the netti pot is exactly what he said to try! I've been kind of hesitant but he says you get used to it and it's easy. I think I'll try it! |

It is strange at first and until you figure out the right position to hold your head you can experience it running down the back of your throat. To fix the above issue though they also carry a squeeze bottle that works as well and with the same cleansing solution but is a bit easier to find the right head position. |

Besides the common cold I really wish something could be done about sinuses. It seems most around me have this issue year round but I am one of the few lucky ones. Its evil almost what people go through when the pollen starts to fall. |
