I mentioned in a previous post that I was coming down with something. I got a massive head cold. I rarely get something like this during this time of year. Is there anything natural out there that will bring down the inflammation. I'm not into taking a whole lot of regular over the counter pain killers.

Echinacea is a time honored solution to sinus allergies or colds. It is considered one of the healing herbs. Just because it is popular option, don't dismiss it's potential. Echinacea stimulates the immune system and fights against many virus or infections.

I've tried Echinacea and don't feel like I experienced any benefit at all. I'm following the directions but don't see anything I can call results. Maybe I just react to it differently that other people.

I usually use a saline solution to wash out my sinuses along with an allergy medication and if that doesn't work in a few days, I go see the GP. This last time I had a sinus infection I had to break down and see the GP and get antibiotics along with an allergy nasal spray and another allergy medication by mouth. In other words, this one was not a good one.
