when iw as younger i was kicked by amule and survived.. i landed ona rock and thast when a unique pain began.

teh offical diagnoses casued sciatica.. i get the nerve pinched in a crack and that is my downfall..

i am a wee bit of discomfort today.. its right at teh upper part of teh back of my thihgh.. kinda feels like a hotknife and pinch at the same time.. not funny but it could be worse...

i take NSADIS for it.. but I was wondering if anyone out there has ever heard of old family treatments for it?

I haven't but I am very sorry to hear that. I couldn't imagine how horrible that must have been and still is for you:(

There is nothing you can take for scaiatic. I have suffered for as long time, and have been told by my docor to just keep moving, the pain does go after a few days, but it is not long before it comes back.

You might want to see your doctor. Spinal issues change with time.

I have yet to find a folk remedy aggressive enough to deal with chronic pain.
