Subject: | Pink Eye | |
My eyes are gooey and sticky and I am struggling to see. I don't think that it is infectious pink eye because I don't have any other symptoms, but I am not sleeping much lately. Could that be enough to cause it? |

It can contribute to it but it could also be from catching a cold, allergies or the beginnings of conjuctivitis (pink eye). To be on the safe side, make a weak tea solution and wipe your eyes a few times a day. The tea is naturally antiseptic/antibacterial and will prevent you from developing a full bloom infection. It's also very soothing. |

I've had similar after spending too long at the computer screen normally. My eyes just don't like it. I normally give them a rinse in contact lens solution-its wonderfully soothing, and gets the junk out. |

You might have an infection that you just are not fully aware of yet. I'd be careful in your contact with others just in case. |

I have seen some people get pink eye so bad the eye actually swelled up and closed. That is something I will never fool around with and have been lucky so far to only get a little of what I have seen others deal with. |

A friend of mine showed me some pictures he took of himself when he had the pink eye and his eyes were swollen, almost shut. So I know it can be very bad. |
