Subject: | People Born In 2000 Are Going To Have A Shorter Life Than Their Parents | |
Federal studies have suggested that for the first time in history, the generation of people born in 2000 is probably going to have shorter life expectancy than their parents. Do you agree with this statement or do you think that there are too many changers that can happen to save us from this warning? |

I don't know, I would like to what evidence they are basing this assumption on. I would think that with every new generationn that there is advances in medicine and knowledge that would make them have a longer life than the previous generation. |

Why 2000 particularly? I would like to see the research and findings behind this, as well. On the face of it, I find it hard to believe. Could you post a link to where you found this information? |

I really can't believe this. With all the strides the medical field has made one would think those born in 2000 would live longer. Do you have a link to this story? |

Perhaps the reasoning behind this is the many diseases that the causes are still undiscovered, plus the eating habits along with industrialization. I don't know, just my thoughts. |

Pollution, global warming causing droughts and hence food shortages, over medication, an ever growing obesity epidemic, etc etc. I can see the statement potentially being true unfortunately. |

I thought people are living longer rather than shorter. With the advance in medicine, it helps a lot in prolonging our life. What are the basis of the studies? Maybe you can furnish more details. |
