Subject: | Norovirus | |
Norovirus came to town and we were some of the first victims. My family has been knocked out for a couple of days with the littlest and the oldest victims having the hardest time. Five days on and the youngest can still only eat a snack sized portion of food or she vomits. If its headed your direction (MD, near PA border) then run and hide, it was evil! |

Time to get out the bleach! I was on a cruise once when it hit, and everyone went down with it. The cruise was grounded as there was no one to staff the ship basically. |

A friend of mine just pointed out the difference betwixt norovirus and influenza. I had always thought the "stomach bug" was a form of flu but it's not. Apparently I have not really had the flu for a number of years but the norovirus seems to enjoy an annual visit. |

I work in a call centre and you should see flu and Norovirus rip through the place every winter. Somehow I don't think humans were meant to function in this kind of environment. |
