Subject: | My mom being sick | |
About a month ago, my mom got sick, she started throwing up whatever she ate, her skin began to shrivel. (she is in her early 50's), the doctors ran much test on her and stopped her from eating all kinds of foods, at the end of it they said she had jaundice. She well now, but I am not convinced this is a good explanation. |

That does sound weird. I have never heard of jaundice having those effect on people. It would seem to me that she is allergic to something. I would visit as specialist if I were in her shoes. Just to confirm things. |

Jaundice produces a yellowing tint to the skin and the whites of the eyes. It's not really a disease in and of itself but a symptom of the liver not working correctly. She most definitely needs to see another doctor to check her liver function, at the very least. |

Did she get a second opinion? Doctors do have a lot of knowledge, but let's face it, sometimes they miss things. She should get a second opinion. |
