I have to have my appeal for disability expidited by the congressman. I can`t beleive they turned me down at my hearing. Now I have to wait even longer to get suregry. Those people didn`t even read my surgeons report. At least it seesm that way. Why don`t they care? I1m not a scammer, I NEED the surgery. If it takes me off disability afterwards I dn`t care I will go back to work. I need help now.They said two years for an appeal. OMG! I sure hope the congressman can get it expidited.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your situation. Two years is a rediculous amount of time to have to wait, surely id there nothing elde you can do?

I am sorry to hear that too. I have a good friend who only has one kidney (with no chance for transplants in her future) and other health issues and she can not even get qualified for disability. They really need to get better standards and start giving the help where it is needed.

Iv`e done all I can. I have had the congressmans office since the beginning helping me. They got my hearing expidited. I am hoping they can also get my appeal expidited. If there was anything else I could do I would do it.

I'm sorry for all the trouble your having. My MIL had the same trouble when she applied for disability. She was diagnosed with cancer in February and needed Medicaid to pay for her chemo treatments. She was only given a Spend Down card that paid part of her medical bills. They strung it out until finally the end of July she got temp disability, but no Medicaid yet. Sadly she was approved for a regular Medicaid card a week after she passed away on August 20th.

I'm so sorry to hear about your situation. It frustrates me to know end...especially when there ARE scammers out there who are getting it while still working cash under the table! Ugh.

That's why I hate the Govt. Everything is about procedures and bureaucracy. This makes me think that the people working there are robots and have no hearts and feelings at all. I would suggest you highlight your case in the press.
