It is extremely common now a days and that is the leading cause of cervical cancer if I read it right. Always a good idea to be tested. |

I think its the current thing to have. While yes many people have had it before, you didn't exactly hear problems from early settlers which could be attributed to HPV which makes me wonder if its not something we engineered ourselves on accident with the current trend of medicines. |

HPV has always been around but they hadn't identified it before. Now with certain strains being directly pointed to as causing cervical cancer, the vaccine is very important. If it prevents more women from dying, then it is a good thing. |

Well I took my daughter in (12 yrs old) and the clinic I took her to for her regular shots automatically gave her this shot. So I imagine they think pretty highly of it, I myself hope it works half as well as they expect it to and I will be appreciative. |
