Subject: | gallbladder attack | |
Last year I landed in the hospital for a few days. It turned out I didnt have a heart attack or my ulcer acting up I had a gallbladder attack. I never would have thought i had galls stones. I dodnt until i started on this job and the constant food on the run is what did it. Some are big some are small. The good news is I jkhave a diet that helps to ease it. This attack I had this week was bad, but not as bad as it could have been. I found that eating at restaurants will eventually atke its toll, even high class styles liek applebees and ruby tuesday. Thsi is just a heads up that if you eat out a lot, often the food has hidden ingredients that can after a while build up. whats strange is this built up in a little less than a year. |

nope...... no insurance so it was minimal. Pain killer, diet, antacid.... When you dont have insurance your pretty much last man on the totem pole. |

I see. That is really too bad. I have heard that some insurance plans won't cover lithotripsy but at least the doctor offers it! |

This treatment is more commonly performed on Kidney stones I believe, because they are more commonly passed. Gall stones are not likely to be passed at all-they form in the gall bladder and remain there. If they move they can cause big problems. The diet for them can be very successful if followed strictly to reduce the burden on the gall bladder, however frequently it will eventually need removing. |
