Subject: | Dry Hands | |
I try to use thick lotions for my hands but when I was younger I ended up getting frost bitten pretty bad. Now when its even a little chilly out they peel. Anyone with some suggestions more than just thick lotion? |

I do have dry hands also especially when winter comes around. I use Lubiderm for dry skin. It works well for me |

Lubriderm has some good acting ingredients, in it and does help with average dry skin. If you have peeling hands, you might want to talk to a Dr. Don't use Vasoline, it is made from petroleum products and can actually make your dry hands progress. |

Vaseline has worked for me as well as AD&D ointment. I have used different variations , not all of them smell good. |

Try Aveeno skin lotions. Most of the others mentioned here stayed on top of my skin and felt greasy no matter who much I rubbed it in or how long I waved them in the air to dry them off. Aveeno feels as if it is absorbed right away. My hands don't feel greasy and they stay moisturized. |

Vaseline is my go-to solution for dry or peeling skin. Cassie said not to use it, but my doctor recommended and it's been really helpful for me. Vaseline also had a lotion mix they offer now, which is a really, really thick lotion, but not as oily as Vaseline itself. I absolutely love it and don't struggle with dry skin hardly at all any more. |
