Subject: | Do you consider acne as a disease? | |
Acne bothers those who have it. Every one could get it; no one is immune to it. It is just a matter of time. However, having it won't cause our health to deteriorate. We only get less prettier when we have them. So do you consider it a disease? |

In a way I think you could consider it a disease as many people suffer from t and for young girls it really hurts their self-esteem. |

If it bothers the person with it, if it gets in the way of their living their life and doing what they want to do, then it is a disease for that person and they should get medical help for it! There's no shame in asking for help for a skin problem at all! |

Just as it can bother someone does not make a disease. Many people get this as teens then never again and vs. versa. When it gets to the point that nothing works then yes I think it effects other different but its not a disease as most would define the word. an impairment of health or a condition of abnormal functioning wordnet.princeton.edu/perl/webwn |
