Subject: Being paranoid

I see some drugs with side effects (mostly those being anti depressants) as possible to cause one to be paranoid. Does this happen for many people or just some? I know its also a late affect effect of those who have done meth for a long time in life.

I don't think that paranoia is a common side effect of anti-depressants, because it if were then they wouldn't be approved so much. That's a pretty nasty side effect, certainly not one I'd trade depression for.

Paranoia really does happen from time to time and yes, it really is a rare thing. Certain types of drugs are more likely to cause it than others, and I think that people with certain conditions are more predisposed to it than others are.

I know that its an after effect of certain illicit drugs but I was not aware it was really the same for those which are legal. Does this happen often?
