Subject: | Vitamin A (Retinol) | |
I have read that Vitamin A (Retinol) supplementation can cause cancer. Now this isn't just a shoot in the dark statement. I read about newest studies that say that supplementation can be dangerous over a long period of time, because Vitamin A is liposoluble and can accumulate in the body. |

I have not read that particular study but I do remember a tidbit from some science class that stated that if you are in the arctic eating polar bear meat never eat the liver because it contains toxic levels of vitamin A for humans. Amazing the stupid bits of information you remember and don't know why. |

I have never heard this before, is it possible that this is true, because if it is, then there are many people who are at risk of being diagnosed with cancer. I am going to do some research on this myself. |
