Does anyone get their child's medicine flavored at the pharmacy. I seen when they do that now for a certain price. Does kids like it better than non-flavor? |

A lot of kids will take the flavored medication easier. The problem with most medications is not that it is unflavored but that it has such a terrible flavor. |

I was a pharm tech for awhile and these were really popular with kids:) I think its worth the extra couple dollars to make sure the kids will actually drink the stuff! |

I didn't know that something like this could be done. When I was a kid I had some evil tasting medication at times. If your child needs to have it flavored in order to take the medication then I would spend the extra money. |

Nope- I get the normal stuff. When I get cough syrup or something like that- then I get flavored- but not prescriptions. |

I had no idea you couñld get this done, but if you have fussy kids, I suppose it is worth that little bit extra. |

Of course I do get them. If not, my kids won't want to take their medicines. I think most medications are bitter and they flavored it to make it sweet so that those young children can take them. |
