This is one of the two topical products I have used for years for scrapes, abrasions, burns, insect bites and stings. Not only is it an antiseptic, but it has a natural pain reliever in it with the camphor. I have used it since as long as I can remember, with my mother and grandmother before me. About the only drawback is the odor, which doesn't bother me too much and being an oil base, it can cause staining on clothers with require alittle extra scrubbing to get out. I feel these are minor drawbacks in comparison to the overall goodness of the product. I also use if effectively on my dogs ears during the summer when flies bother their ears. Not only does it repel the flies, but it also promotes the healing. I don't hear or see much about this product on this site, so was just curious if anyone else was a fan of this product.

I also have been using Campho-Phenique for as long as I can remember. The oil base sooths many problems and helps the skin too.

It also is sold in a gel now that doesn't wipe off as easily.

The smell of it reminds me of my childhood. It relieves cold sores, any itch, keeps any scratch antiseptic, and it has camphor oil and eucalyptus oil in it as a nice natural topical ointment.

It's sitting in my medicine cabinet now. I love it.

I never knew about this until about a year or so ago and its the only thing I use now for insect bites. Everything else seems too strong on my skin or the smell of it also.

This is one product that has worked well for me over the years as well. The amazing thing about this product is many people really do not know about it.
