Detergents with Perfumes/Dyes

Even if your child is not allergic to dyes and perfumes is it better to use a dye free and perfume free detergent to launder their clothes and bedclothes and stuffed animals or does it really not matter at all?

I try and make sure to use dye free even though they are not allergic simply because I was told not exposing them to it too much is the best way to make sure there is not an allergy for them in the future.

Yes I always look for products like this so my kids do not break out. Certain products make them do so I stay away from them.

My son has been suffering from eczema since he was just months old. The doctor said to avoid dyes and perfurmes, so that's what we did. It helps a lot! It's still breaking out every now and then though, specially when the weather changes.
